These Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines describe what you may and may not do on Nesktop. Violating these guidelines may result in content removal, account restriction, or termination, consistent with applicable law.
1. Security and system integrity
You may not:
- access, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure without authorization;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limits, authentication, or access controls;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Service.
2. Scraping and automated access
You may not use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access or extract data from the Service in a manner that disrupts normal operation, circumvents intended controls, degrades service performance, or collects data beyond what the Service makes available through its intended interfaces.
3. Malware, spam, and fraud
You may not upload, transmit, distribute, or store malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code. You may not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam), phishing content, or to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity.
4. Illegal and infringing content
You may not use the Service to store, share, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
5. Impersonation
You may not impersonate another person, organization, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity in a way intended to deceive or confuse others.
6. Privacy violations
You may not collect, store, or share personal information of others without their consent or in violation of applicable privacy laws.
7. Public and user-generated content
Content you publish through public profiles, organization pages, NAPP Store listings, ratings, comments, or other community features must comply with these guidelines. Ratings must reflect a genuine opinion. Comments must remain factual, relevant, and respectful.
8. Organization and team rules
Organization owners and administrators are responsible for ensuring that their members comply with these guidelines when using managed workspaces, layouts, and shared features.
9. Moderation
We may review, hide, reject, or remove content that violates these guidelines. We maintain moderation audit records and may restrict accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these rules.
10. Enforcement
Enforcement actions are proportionate to the severity and frequency of the violation. Actions may include content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, subject to applicable law.
11. Appeal and contact
If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you may appeal by contacting nesktopinfo@gmail.com with the relevant details. We will review appeals in a reasonable timeframe.
